Death Cab For Cutie Live?
So, got tickets for a ‘twilight’ gig in SLC in June. The tickets were only $20.00 each, so I imagine it will be a short show, or something?
I’m not a super fan or anything, but I generally like anything I hear from Benjamin Gibbard.
What should I expect? True-to-album, or looser interpretations?Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident

I've had them on my list of if I can make it shows for a while. I have been considering seeing them at Mission Ball Room in Denver, as I haven't been down there yet. Show is in September. I'll hope you post a review here.

No need to worry about a short set or anything, Twilight shows are great and are the full experience.

That's insane that you were able to get $20 tickets when they've got 3 almost sold out shows at the Greek in Berkeley with tickets going for $175 face. Enjoy. I saw them at the Santa Barbara bowl in 2011 and they were great.

Twilight shows (both SLC and Ogden) are full shows; the concert series are partially subsidized thus the low ticket prices. Perks of living in Utah.
MD9 has done a phenomenal job with the Ogden series year after year.Last edited by MarsB; 03-24-2023 at 03:23 PM.
