    Last time y'all shit the bed in 08 it eventualy dragged down the RE up narth so 2 yrs later so I was able to get back in the market, Canada didnt suffer and it was great for me

    Eurobanks are experiencing issues too though -- not sure we will be unscathed. Although if the 'mercans are forced to take their hands off the interest rate throttle to avoid global collapse, and we keep after it -- Canadians might be able to afford to buy things down there using our dollars for a change.

    the reason we did not also shit our beds is because the finance minister of the day ( might have been Paul Martin ? ) would not allow canadia banks to de-regulate

    actualy that cheap canuck buck is good for Canadian mfg & lumber bidness cuz it makes canuck products a good buy

    Kind of -- they have to buy equipment and stuff in US $, so it usually ends up they just jack their prices up to match American business and nobody can afford anything.
