Dub compatible crankset with Shimano chainring?

Building up an Evil Following MB frame that already has a DUB bottom bracket installed. Trying to pinch a few pennies so wondering if there is a DUB compatible boost crankset that will also take a shimano 12 speed hyperglide compatible chainring (52 mm chainlne). Sticking with Shimano since I already have a shimano SLX 12spd chain, cassette, and rear wheel.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I think you'll have to use sram/truvativ cranks, I'm not thinking of any other brands that use dub spindles off the top of my head. wolftooth has these although seems to be limited on size and colors right now:

Getting a shimano compatible chainring on a DUB crankset is going to cost significantly more than just buying a $25 shimano bottom bracket.

^^^Yep. Guess this is the answer. Just looked up Shimano BB's and it's much less expensive than trying to fit to the DUB bottom bracket.

    Thanks all!

One other option you can do if you already have a SRAM crankset is a OneUp Switch. It's a 2-part chainring (outer ring + inner carrier). I believe the outer ring is supposed to be compatible with both SRAM & Shimano.

Yep, just buy this https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...n-Cranks-170mm and a cheap BB and be done with it

I have this. Works very well and not too pricey at all iirc.
    No longer stuck.

That bb is only there because dude didn't have the tool to remove it... but there is this, I think I have one around in nickel that I never used.

a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
