The real play is to make the Thursday game a soft bye, teams shouldn’t play either Sunday closest to the Thursday game. Make the season take one more weekend without adding a game. Thursday games could be preeminent matchups where both teams have rest and 10 days to prepare.

Sucramento Kings made the playoffs which means the Jets now hold the current record for not appearing in the post season (12 years)

A bit of silly prestidigitation, but surely Odell ain't signing unless Lamar's deal is ready to be inked too. Right?

No way OBJ signs without being sure that Lamar is playing.

    Right?

I can give you 15 million reasons why he might be willing to sign without knowing Lamar's status.

I could be mistaken, it's actually pretty common, but wasn't the word on the street towards the end of last season that he was looking for $20m?

It's not clear. That was the scuttlebutt, but OBJ tweeted a while ago that he wasn't asking for $20M, he was simply saying that $4M wasn't enough. But that's just the stuff that was reported, don't know for sure,.

All I know is if OBJ brings the drama like he can and Lamar keeps tilting at windmills, we might be looking at the most instability that franchise has had in a long time.

    And I'm here for it.

Yeah, it's kinda a crazy game of chicken the franchise is playing. While Lamar might be happy now with finally having a legit WR, shit can still easily go sideways in a hurry.

In the meantime, has Ayahuasca Aaron joined the Jets yet?

    Jalen Hurts gets PAID.

    Wherefore art thou, Lamar Jackson?

I bet Hurts had an agent.

In part, yeah. Mostly, it’s just another QB getting paid and moving on with things.

NFL 2023-2024: Here's Hoping for Total Chaos

IDK that it’s bad for him, a running QB got the biggest contract ever. I think it’s be worse if Hurts got franchised, got $25M a year or didn’t get a deal.

Markets set a price, market just said a similar QB is worth $50m a year.

If you found out another middle aged attorney, who also spends most of his day on TGR, got a new job making 2x more than you is that a good or bad thing?

I'd probably ask that attorney for his agent's contact info.

and the agent is quite attractive, so you should ask her out on a date (if the wife approves).
