Therapy for cold toes / post frostbite

Has anyone tried alternating cold/ hot therapy for circulation issues?

I had a frost nip issue with my feet a month ago, and my circulation is now fucked up.

Toes go cold and numb at room temperature, and I’m using heated ski socks.

Would like to return to normal …

Bad idea. Keep your toes warm.

I have had severe frostbite. Went with a whirlpool in the bathtub with betadine in the water to help prevent infection. Also had trench foot. Good news is no lasting effects from either. You can get something like this Name: tub.jpg

For immediate thawing of frozen toes the recommendation is just soaking in water at 105F. Not hotter--risk of burns.
