Mach 1 MV fit compared to Zero G Tour Pro and Cochise

Wondered if anyone could compare the fit of these two boots. I have wide (~110mm) feet and a high instep, but the ZGTP fits well for me after a bunch of punching, a baseboard grind and custom insoles.

I have been using the ZGTP for both touring and inbounds but to prevent it getting beat to shit have been trying to get a dedicated resort boot. I have tried the new Cochise but found a lot more instep pressure than the ZGTP, and am wondering if the Mach 1 MV has more room?

Could wait until next year as they are coming out with a HV Mach 1 and Cochise

Ski both. No punching so YMMV.

How does the instep height feel on the MV compared to ZGTP?

I ski both with no punches as well but I feel like the instep is just a touch lower on the zero G, but my zero G are the previous generation so maybe that's different than the newest models?

I ski the Cochise (with zipfit) and tried the Zero g in store and the zg felt a tiny bit lower in the instep. The cochise liner has a very thick tongue so you could try move it closer to the leg/higher up as it's velcro attached. Or try it with a different liner.

For me the cochise still feels like a quite low instep especially the end part part closest to the leg, but I have a high instep. I have not tried the MV but I keep reading it has a higher instep.

I've been in a Cochise for a few seasons. Had the Mach 1 MV about 3 years ago. The fit was similar, but that boot leaked like crazy. Gave it away to a local kid.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Sounds like the MV could work.

Went from a c~2018 mv 120 to a cochise 130 this season, felt the exact same after punching out the same spots and getting a dozen or so days on them. The calf feels tighter but that could be wear or the strap design letting me cinch it down more

Had the OG Cochise 130 and am in the new one this year . As said above , the instep right where it meets the leg is significantly lower than the older version. There is a bit more room over the tops of the toes though. I can't use the stock liners so far because of the instep pressure right there, have my older intuitions in there and it is closer fitting than the old boot but works, so I assume that if I had some work done to the liner tongue it could work .
