    Rest in Peace My Beloved

    Ordinarily, 35 years seems like a long time. But I assure you, it's not long enough.

    I am heartbroken to be writing this post: Surrounded by family and friends that love her, Mrs. Gadget passed away on January 19th.

    Mrs. Gadget and I shared 35 fabulous years together and we raised two awesome kids. As some of you may have read in @Telee's thread, both of us were diagnosed with cancer 30 days apart. However, Mrs. Gadget was diagnosed with inflammatory ductal carcinoma; one of the more rare and more aggressive forms of breast cancer. With a very low survival rate, the Boss said she was not going to be one of those people. She waged an unbelievable battle and she wasn't one of those people having survived 6 years. Until the cancer came back. And it came back with a vengeance having spread to her bones, lymph system, and cerebrospinal fluid. In the end cancer killed the woman I love and I am a wreck.
