I'm so sorry IG. How wonderful you had someone you loved so much for so long, and how devastatingly painful it must be to lose her. Sending lots of love to you and yours.

I don't know whether I have ever met anyone as strong as Tracy, or a family as resilient as yours. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we have recently spent a great deal of time thinking of you, Tracy, A and C. While we have not seen much of each other lately, we hope to spend time with you in the near future. I blame myself for the absence. Everyone has their own way of mourning and thinking of how to handle friends' and loved ones' personal tragedies and losses. I know that personally, when confronted with this type situation, I tend to give people a lot of space take care of their lives the best that they can. We will certainly miss Tracy, and we have missed not having your family in our daily lives. I know that you have been very brave, patient and strong for a very long time. You deserve peace and bereavement as you see fit. You are not alone, and I know that you will gather strength from A and C. We are ready to help you along your journey, whenever you are ready for us. Godspeed.

    copying your posted quote

the love you have for Mrs Gadget is obvious. May that love carry you through and make you fearless in this most difficult of times.

While I have not met her, I am sure her time here on Earth had a big impact on you and your whole family. Take some time to not only mourn your loss, but also celebrate her life here on earth and all she touched with her love and being a Spouse to you and partner. Prayers to you and your whole family.
