The US logo looks like a either a grocery store meat product logo or a gas station convenience store logo and I'm spacing on which of those it is.

So apparently Kike´ Hernadez shit his pants in the middle of a game of the 2020 NLDS and took an AB before he could go clean himself up.

FYI, if you want the MLBTV package at $ 149.00 instead you can join the MLBPAA for $ 25.00 and get a 50% discount. 100 bucks sounds better than 149.00

The Taiwan vs Italy game was great baseball, and the crowd brought it. Singing, chanting, thunder sticks, big bombs and bat flips! That was what international baseball is about. Hopefully the US crowd can bring the same enthusiasm this weekend. I’ll be there doing my part.

I never knew Austin Barnes was Mexican, but I am happy he and Urias get to spend the WBC together dialing it in.

    & Joc playing for Israel

WBC has easier team qualifications for players than FIFA

Interesting story about one of the Israel WBC players
    https://www.foxsports.com/stories/ml...ythical-figure
Armed with a mid-70s fastball, a vagabond’s passport, a mullet and, sometimes, a gold tooth, Lipetz is Kenny Powers, Forrest Gump, Paul Bunyan, Batman and Walter Johnson rolled into one. He has pitched around the globe — from Tel Aviv to Vienna, Belgrade to Seoul, Tecate to Blagoevgrad, San Diego to Turin, from the Tokyo Olympics to Central Park — all the while carrying the Israeli baseball community on his shoulders.

    Ha ha that's awesome.

Rogers Centre announced today they'll have walk in tickets (no assigned seat, just cruise around the dome taking in the game from the various bars and observation decks) available for $20 this year. Seems like a brilliant idea. Is this common at other parks?

    Awesome
Yankee Stadium has a "pinstripe pass" which is similar and includes beer/soda and hot dog per ticket.
It can be as low as $15 but they yield it based on demand (opening day is $60+)
Yes I looked at going to a game in the Bronx in March...

And that’s without José Ramirez and the best reliever in baseball, Emmanuel Clase - both being slow walked this spring after minor procedures.
