There's no new info? seems like a lot has been coming out. Cora is talking, Mookie is talking... Sure, MLB knows and Manfred fucked the whole thing up. It's as bad as steroids, inconsistent balls, gambling. What haven't they fucked up?

And of course a lot of teams cheated (there's a lot of finger pointing about the 2015 Royals) some better and more persistent but after the warnings... a few teams kept cheating.

    Have an asterisk, buddy.

Yankees would love to have something to add an asterisk to.

Funnily enough I just wrapped up the video about that day this morning, so quite the coincidence to hear that podcast playing as I was watching back some of the footage.
Checked out the video; nicely done!

I can't believe you did the pull from ATL --> CLE all in one day and worked the Tail of the Dragon in there along the way. On a bike.

I do that in a comfortable car at least twice a year and I'm gassed. I'd be curious to know the route you took from ATL to the Dragon as the N. Ga mountains have some of the best driving roads in the country, full stop.

Nice to know that the ends justify the means for Red Sox and Astros fans, MLB agrees. Travesty.

Thanks man! Yeah, it was a huge day for sure, especially coming off of Miami to Atlanta the day before. I did like 1400 miles in two days. I don’t know what I was thinking. Haha.

I took 575 north and then wound my way up from there. It was hands down the best riding I did on that entire trip. That part of the country is so nice. Just perfect roads and amazing scenery. At one point in Tennessee I was riding along a river full of rafters and kayakers. Pretty cool stuff.

That's fantastic. You aren't kidding, there's just some unbelievable roads in that part of the country where GA/TN/NC/SC come together. Next time through you'll have to take GA400 north out of town and hit a few of my favorite roads (in blue below) and the Georgia Tail of the Dragon. Fall is *chef's kiss* exquisite driving/riding down here.

This is bad cause there’s no way I have enough marital capital built up to take another couple weeks on the bike, but…

I gotta get to a Bananas game this summer, they look like too much fun.

Back in the day when they were the Savannah Sand Gnats they'd have $1.00 tall boy nights. Those were fun.

    Yeah, probably so.

The talent level on the field was probably the same as the 1974 Indians too.

I will always love Damon because I will never forget being at a Yankees game with my wife who isnt a huge baseball fan but she is from New Hampshire so when Damon came up to bat she stands up and yells "TRAITAAHH" Now this was 2011 actually the Game Jeter got # 3000 and Damon was playing for the Rays at the time but it was still outstanding...

Of course Machado got the first automatic strike called on him. Fitting in a way.

    OFFICIAL 2023 MLB THREAD!!!!

And now Atlanta strikes out with the bases loaded to end the game by not being in the box with 8 seconds left.

I like this rule, so I’m glad they are enforcing it so tight in spring training so everyone has time to get use to it.

^^^ watching that game I was impressed by how much better the flow was.

    Right?

I'd love to see what a full game with the catcher calling balls and strikes would look like. I bet there'd be some fantastic chatter out there too.

They’re all so bad. In like a boring way. Somehow the US one is the worst cause they tried a little bit more.
