Seriously. They may be a worse franchise than the As or the Royals cause they are trying to win and still suck. Like the Mets.

José Ramírez just won some guy back in Ohio a brand new Ford Bronco by hitting a grand slam during the Ford home run inning. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone hit on one of those jackpot prize things.

In another chapter of Baseball is Amazing, Guards SP Logan Allen faced off against his childhood best friend and teammate (whose dad also coached Allen in college) tonight in KC catcher MJ Melendez. One got a hit the other got an out. I’d call that a draw.

Cool considering you have better odds to win the lotto than make the bigs (or something crazy long like that).

Domingo German with a perfect or double digits from the Yanks offense, what is less likely?

Good on Jose winning the dude that car. Couple more and he can steal that hardware from Showtime.

It was really intense to watch with this years anxiety producing and shaky defense.

Domingo is a weird dude with a lot of baggage that was absolutely shunned for quite awhile but the team was really behind him. For a few minutes it was like they won the world series but then there were hugs long enough to be awkward with him and Boone and all of the guys. I can remember perfectos happening but i am not sure if I ever watched one, like I checked the score in the fifth before bed and then thought i had to actually watch, rooting for quick innings even on our side.

i hate west coast games (9:40 start!) and i am suffering today but it was really cool to see.

how bad is rocco baldelli at managing games? it’s crazy that tito has the guards with a negative run differential in first place. do the twins have no bullpen or lead gloves or something?

Apparently very bad, but as Paul Harvey would say, that's not the rest of the story.

Guardos played some of the best ball in the AL during the month of June with many of their core players' averages shooting up 100 points, Josh Naylor is hitting the cover off the ball and is 4th in the League for RBI. Jose is well, Jose, and Kwan/Bell/Jimenez have all been producing to normal again. Problem is the starting rotation, the most reliable part of the club heading into the season; 4 of 5 Opening Day Starters have been or are on the IL with Beiber being the exception.

Thank God the Cleveland Pitching Factory is a very real thing cause Carl Willis and his staff just keep sending big league talent up who have been doing really well, including the Guard's best prospect (and a top 100 in MLB) starter Gavin Williams who went 7/6 SO/BB the other night.

The division is not good, but I have a feeling that the Guards are trending back to where they were last year (They are actually just one game better than they were on this exact date last season), Chicago is a steaming turd pile, Minnesota can't get out of their own way and Detroit actually looks like it has some young kids who can play. It's all or nothing in the ALCentral, win or go home.

there was chatter after they fired Paul Molitor that the front office wanted a flow through manager, someone who’d do what they told him. He’s not gifted and neither are they, just passive dipshits extracting their rent

Neat, the AL 3B leader in average, WAR, OBP, 2nd in runs and 3rd in RBI isn’t even an AL All Star finalist.

MLB does such a shit job of marketing its players, and as much as the ASG is the best in major sports, the way starters get selected is fucked.

    Welcome to my hell...

I guess if the NL has to have a DH on the Allstar team I am glad its JD. its a funny pick too ( but well deserved) as many of us remember when NL sluggers would "retire" into the AL DH when they couldn't field much anymore.... Now JD leaves to the NL partly because of perceived weakness in the OF and goes on to lead the National league in slugging and top 3 in RBIs

I’m just thankful JRam is on my team and I’ll leave it at that.
