Bump. There appears to be a scammer in our midst:

You have received a new private message at Teton Gravity Research Forums from md92b6, entitled "Scarpa TX Comp NTN 27.5 or 28.0".

This is the message that was sent:

I’ve read mixed reviews, never ordered from them myself, but there is a pair on alpinstore for a little over $500 shipped.

Hey man you ever pull the trigger on these? Curious about alpinstor as I’ve got a pair of tx pros in my cart, 488$ better deal than anywhere else I’ve seen.

they've got a 10% off coupon going and for boots and bindings they're more than 40% less than FHL prices right now.

edit to add: have not yet puylled trigger

Given that the TX comp will no longer be in the Scarpa lineup, just ordered a pair from Alpinstore. Will post on here once received to let others know how it goes.

Thanks 3Pin. I slept on the deal FHL was offering and they’re out of my size. This could get ugly. At least I’m holding a set of TX Pro for my backups but I don’t enjoy skiing them

The only thing wonky so far was that it took a few tries for their automated system to get my address right. Kept placing me in a different nearby town. But ordering and using PayPal was all smooth once that was resolved.

Ordered last Friday, got them today, crazy fast shipping!

Looks like they are out of stock except for one pair of 28 mondo left.
