    DESCRIPTION
The unique Grilamid material with carbon fiber offers great rigidity at a progressive flex of 130. The Tigard 130 is the perfect companion to find top power transfer and superior downhill performance to the ski. For powder fun at its best. For those who prefer less flex, the Tigard 110 boot is spot on: The unique Grilamid material with fiberglass offers great rigidity at a progressive flex of 110.

Hoji lock on a 4 buckle boot is sweet (if the boot is good).

Hoji lock. Safe to assume it’s the same as the radical pro

So what controls the forward flex if there is no tongue?

The current hoji's get their stiffness from the spine via these little bits that attach the rear cuff to the lower clog. They get little to no stiffness from the tongue.

    Dynafit Tigard

I spent too much time trying to explain the same thing on the Lupo air. If the walkmode or bump stops locks out forward motion, the tongues don’t do much at all but keep snow out.

Just looked through the 2024 catalog. I guess I’ll either have to get a radical next or hoard a pair of hojis. That Mazzamma binding looks pretty wild for a super light offering. And the black light looks interesting too.

Does Grilamid ski well? I’m really looking for a resort boot that just happens to have pins for side country (think short laps on a Cast setup) but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of offerings in my desired wide last.

Edit: any word on forward lean?

Not especially, definitely a compromise for weight.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Anyone know if these will have a high volume fit (closer to the Radical Pro) or more of a medium/low volume fit (closer to the Hoji free)?

Just looked at these today. I’m not sure about the fit. No one liked it. Very very high instep. Disproportionately tight mid foot. Not tight in the ankle. Strange. Great walk mode and nice flex though. Click image for larger version.

So Dynafit aren’t going to make a single boot that fits my LV ankle and low instep. Bummer. So many fun adventures in my Titans, Titan ULs, Mercuries, and Hoji Frees, but what next? From a company that was once at the cutting edge of all aspects of ski touring, so many poor decisions, to the point where there’s not one category (bindings, skis, clothing, and now boots) where I’d choose their products. Perhaps if I was a fashion conscious on-piste ski tourer or a trail prancer?
