I'm liking the gentler tip rocker. The bigger rocker is the mistake I think DPS and other followers made.

Looks like about 64 inches/162.5 cm of running length with a initially gentle rocker of 12+ inches/31+ cm.

85 cm from the tail would be more of a forward mount relative to running length if the tip rocker were bigger or earlier.

But the way the rocker is subtle as one moves toward the tip, I could see 85 cm from the tail. Maybe 84 for me.

Yes, the engineered mount is -11.5 aka 82 from the tail. I will do 81 from the tail (-12.5) for my personal pair.

Should be at 82-82.5cm from the tail,if you're going for the recommended mount point, at 11.5cm back from center. I'm most likely mounting at -11 for both my FL 194s and C 187s.

Simple thing really, but while I, the GFB part of the equation, am a shin driver, Marshal wears more forward lean than me in his boots, and wanted a more rearward mount. We compromised on -11.5cm, but as the sidecut is pretty straight, and the profile is pretty flat, I believe a strong, more centered skier could easily enjoy skiing them even at -9cm. in theory, at least.

    Does that help at all?

And the heavy tip/tail taper...and the really tight sidecut.

Now to figure out which skis from my quiver to purge to get some 187s. Yesterday would have been the perfect day for some real tanks. Lots of fresh from last week blown around into a mix of deeper chop and some denser broken crystals.

Pulled the trigger on C132's this summer. Just sitting here pissing my pants in anticipation of their arrival. If I had more duckets I'd have a pair of C113's as well. Ultimate one-two tour combo me thinks. Coulda used some of the FL113's to good affect this morning too.

I am lusting after a pair of 187 C113s. I think that they’d be an awesome touring ski.

I'm going 194 FL113, based on Waxoff's rec. Once I saw the verified weight and rocker profile I didn't stand a chance. Based on your and Marshal's advice, think I'm gonna mount at +1 or maybe +1.5 for my P15s/Kryptons/preferences. Thinking there should still be plenty of ski out front for 3D with the 194TL. Will report back for sure.

Well, what can one say... Made the same rec to myself..! Couldn't miss out on this opportunity. In for 187 FL113, thinking/hoping the length is adequate.

Thanks for the stoke Marshal and Arild!

    Hey ASP!

Buster had the first order in the queue and received his pair, as the sample is unchanged from production on them… but that is the only pair for another few weeks!

    Hey Marshal,

Regarding the FL113, will the trim color on these be close to gold, or more orange-yellowish? Pics I've seen this far are either or. Picky I know, but trying to figure if going with matching or contrasting colors for the binders... Or just go black... or red..! Cheers!

Who's skied these so far? Close to pulling the trigger but damn it's not an ideal time to buy anything.
