    Aftermarket Lupo walk mode

Cascade components went and made a walk mode for the Lupo. I guess it adds a few degrees forward lean and is designed to not break, which is good because the stock one definitely seems like it's designed to break.

Looks good in these photos. No idea if it's going to go for sale but I would say from my shop experience, there is a very good reason to have these on the market, especially since Dalbello makes is so hard to stock replacement walk modes.Click image for larger version.

    More forward lean?
    In.

I'm currently in the process of setting up an old Lupo TI and it is pretty dialed but could use more forward lean.

Edit: didn't these guys do that CNCed toe piece/pillar system to mount CAST toes?
Did that ever go into production?

Yeah, they made that toe piece as well. It never did go into production but they did make a second version that had less rise (i think) and used the same hole pattern as the original.

That would work a lot better than using both leany calf shims. For me mostly for the lodge, but....yeah. gimme.

Count me in! Currently using calf shims and would much rather have this. Was chatting with him on IG yesterday and it seems well though out and designed.

He hasn't put them into production yet, but he's considering it. The pic he posted was just a one-off pair he made for his boots. I told him on IG their will be people on TGR interested, so fingers crossed.

I'd be in for at least 1 pair.

Anyone have direct line to them to find out how many commitments they'd need to produce?

The hardware is ordered for the first run of 25. I’ll check on ETA.

Rad. Thanks for posting this up Golden. Would love to see CC find a footing in the ski industry the way they have MTB. They have a knack for making good gear better, and I'm all for it.

Walk modes should go on the machine in the next 1-2 weeks. I’ll bump this thread when the pre-order link goes live on the CC website.

Bit of a hijack, but has anyone ever gotten their Lupo SPs Casted during the off season? Seems like it would be pretty straightforward for them (no additional rubber pads, etc). I should have done that this summer. Oh well.
Also, will this work for the Lupo SP? Think older ones with the straight lever.
