I have an essentially NIB pair of Factorys that I'm about to start skiing.
I’ve replaced mine once. Get parts now while/if you can I guess. Or the expert 3D printers on here might be able to make some?

My HD's have some sort of Fiber cuff, it says 'fiber charged' on them.

Is that different to the Carbon cuffs?

Yes, that is different. The "fiber charged" cuff is probably the most common and shared by several of the lupos models (pro hd, ax, hdax...what am I missing?). I think the factory is the only one with the carbon cuff?

Yeah only the Lupo TI carbon and the Lupo factory have the carbon cuff.

Shim in addition to mechanism being sold. Only applies to carbon cuff boots.

Got my levers in today for my Pro HDs and it appears the channel for the lever on the cuff it a bit too deep... bummer. Looks like I'm gonna have to shim them out, anyone have any ideas on how to make a shim so I do.t have to order and wait for them? I was thinking some washers, is this a bad idea?

Alright so this is what I've come up with, cut up old card, measures to pretty much 2mm doubled up and now the lever works perfect! Just got to pick up some longer screws. Any reason that this is a bad idea? Am I gonna die?

I had the same issue with my green Lupo Pro HD. I considered shimming them out but decided to take a small amount of material off the cuff with round files right at the axle / pivot point. Didn't take much to clearance and works well now.

@iriponsnow did you have to shim or modify your pro HDs?

Same. Hit it with a Dremel. Problem solved. Skiing pretty well.

Irips feet are wicked tiny ( had to have Dalbello special order a 24 for me.....) so I'd not generalize much from my experiences.

Having the same issue with by blue Lupo Pro HD.
Let me know how the shim works, as I'm tyring to avoid spending more on the shim direct from Cascade.

I’m slow at baseline. What exactly is the issue?

Seems like the Lupo Pro HD have clearance issues where at the pivot point on the cuff it causes the lever to bind and you lose the spring action of the lever.

I have some minor rubbing on my Pro HDs that makes the movement action tight. In my opinion not enough to warrant shimming or material removal.

This exactly. After shimming about 2mm the clearance between the lever pivot and the cuff is just enough not to rub

Did you need longer screws or did your cut up card work?
    Thanks!
