Moving to Denmark: Selling Stuff (AXS Reverb, Mach 4 SL, Stumpjumper, etc)

    Hey All -

I am moving back (moved there from NorCal and lived there from 2018 - 2020) to Denmark for a few years and am cleaning out my garage. Have some stuff to move that I don't need there and don't want to leave behind here as I am trying to rent my house out.

    The Reverb AXS is sold!

How many freedom dollars? (Or will you accept 1.75# of bacon?)
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.

    Next up: 2021 Pivot Mach 4 SL (120mm front/100mm rear) w/Live Valve

Frameset was purchased new in early 2021, built up with 2020 components.

    Details:

    $5000
    + shipping costs

Size Medium 2021 Mach 4 SL XC MTB Bike.
    Fox 34 Factory 120mm fork w/Live Valve
Fox Factory EVOL 100mm shock w/Live Valve
SRAM XX1 AXS Drivetrain (10 - 50t Cassette + 34t chainring), some scratches on rear derailleur
Crankset: SRAM XX1 w/QUARQ powermeter (protective tape, peeling on crank arm, can be removed)
    ENVE 760mm M5 flat bars
    Uncut steerer tube on fork
LiteBicycle Carbon rims with DTSwiss 240s hubs
Shimano XT (160mm rotors front & rear, centerlock)
Maxxis Aspen 2.4 front, Maxxis Rekon Race 2.4 rear both set up tubeless
No name aluminum (will probably want to install a dropper post)
    No pedals.

Frame is in great condition, there is one scratch in the paint on the top tube, when the bars swung around while bike was in transport, and a controller swiped the top tube. Just cosmetic. Controllers have been adjusted and can not happen again.

Stanchions of fork and shock are clean, no nicks, etc. Saddle looks goofy, because I took a dropper post off, and stuck on this rigid post with a saddle that I wasn't using....tossed the saddle on their quick (I don't normally ride that nose pointed lol)

    SRAM Force AXS (48t chainring)
Completely stock bike except added the Quarq power meter spider
Pedals, cages & garmin mount not included.

Next Up: Size 56cm Pivot Vault gravel bike

    Shimano GRX Di2 2x drivetrain (48t big ring), & brakes (160 centerlock rotors f/r)
    ENVE 3.4 AR wheelset.

This frameset was acquired direct from Pivot in February 2022. I came to me via warranty negotiation....I had a Pivot LES hardtail that I cracked, which Pivot offered to warranty, but they had no stock of LES frames at the time, so negotiated that they send me this frameset instead. I've ridden it very little...it's mint. The drivetrain & wheels were purchased new and separately...it's a great bike, would probably be rad on the fast gravel farm roads of Denmark...but I want to sell both this and the Aethos, and just 1 road/gravel/all-round bike over there.

    $4,000 (SOLD!)

Is the Mach4 free? I'll take it if yes. And I don't buy the saddle story.

Yes again! Was there from 2018 - 2020 and loved it there. Moved back to NorCal and truly miss it, so going back for another stint.

One of the best places in world to be a cyclist. (not in winter though, of course)

lol, yes I did...move back to NorCal nearly exactly 2 years ago. I'm still with the same company that moved me back and forth previously....and an opportunity to do the same thing popped up again. So with a fully subsidized move on offer again for a promotion, etc. and all that again I jumped at the chance once more.

The Aethos and Vault have been sold.

The Mach 4 SL is still available.

Ah bummer, yes, I'm literally packing it into a box today to ship out. It's an absolutely fantastic bike...I don't race road bikes at all, so I don't need the stiffest raciest thing out there, but I do ride the living snot out of them on local 'race rides' for training, KOM hunting etc lol...and the Aethos just rides so damn dreamy. There's definitely a magic sauce in it's layup that makes it feel like a steel bike kind of....there is just the right amount of flex to it, but it springs back and seems to give energy....and it's just so comfy....I can ride it across the country and be happy as a clam on it. Going to miss it.

I sold it because I'm just being extremely picky on what reducing this quiver and taking a smaller fleet of bikes to Denmark. The Aethos being so light and kind of climby, lost out on making the trek over as I don't see the use for it so much over there. And the Vault just didn't fit me very well, so I knew that I wanted that to go also. Now at the end of the day, with both bikes sold, I am rolling that over into my quiver killer all-road rig for Denmark which will be an Enve Melee. Can handle the kind of gravel that I will encounter all over Scandinavia no problem, and will roll fast on the road with it's aero profiles and road race geo. Rolling it with 35's over there will be $$$. AND it is has integrated fender mounts.....which I'll use the heck out of over there in rainy, sploshy DK.

Sounds great , and I get what you are saying . I have an exploro and a tarmac and despite the tarmac being faster on the road I always go for the exploro because it’s just so much more comfortable !
