You think Trump is dumb enough not to announce his run for 2024 to get some kind of protection from prosecution as quickly as is possible? Can't investigate due to the Nov elections, can't investigate because he's a candidate. The slippery weasel is slippery.
Wait, how can we trust this guy^^^ He's clearly not DJSapp

    Congratulations. You got the joke.

What is the "can't investigate while a candidate" all about?

I don't get it, why not? It seems like some ancient code vs. actual law.

I am only here to post in this most impotent of threads. Carry on.

You can. It'll be funny to see Trumpers upset about this while overlooking the whole FBI thing with Hillary (that turned out be nonsense) literally 2 weeks before the election.

Trump says he’s “not going to partake” in any charges brought by the special counsel, so checkmate I guess.

My initial reaction was "isn't this just going to slow shit down?" All these "special" investigations seem to move at a glacial pace. Let's charge this fuck and be done with it. I don't want it getting close to the election before they act.

Federal prosecutors will never charge unless they're certain it will stick. It seems obvious that the current level of evidence isn't a slam dunk so....

If no one can get an obstruction charge to stick for Maralogo then they might as well just disband the entire DOJ.

Dave Chappelle's recent monologue was fucking hilarious.

"I've stolen a lot of things from former places I've worked, but you know the one thing I didn't steal? .... Work."

Bar none the best summation of the whole Maralago records thing I've heard to date.

Only if fuck stick had simply returned the docs when asked instead of saying the law does not apply to him.
