has anyone skied Mt. Cardigan this season? Thinking about driving up from the city on Friday AM. Little concerned about the thaw-freeze with Wednesday PMs potential for light rain/wintry mix.

Watch the timing of the precip. I feel like this one could go either way.

Magic was a lot of fun today. Great day skiing. They need some more and plenty of obstacles lurking. Snow was wind effected and choppy but fun. Place was empty.
why make ten turns when you only need to make NONE!

On another note, I’ll be buying an uphill pass to BMOM for Wednesday Jan. 31 as an absentee show of support for the continued access to the Angry Beaver glades.

    Thanks cat, great idea!

When I get back to the States, I’ll look into the possibilities of hosting a Mag Meeting in Maine, Saddleback Edition for mid-late February/early March.

I barely got to experience MRG in the late 90s….but that is still some very high praise.

Black Mountain of Maine is rewriting their uphill policies and I am asking folks to buy an uphill ticket for Tuesday January 31 to show support for uphilling at the mountain. Cost is $17 including a $2 service fee. If any of you could toss in it would be greatly appreciated. In addition to our great glades we have backcountry trails and a glade network developed by gba that extends over to Rumford Whitecap and back.

Is this something we can contribute to even if not able to make it for skiing?
