Crippling lift lines at open, we must have waited at least 5 minutes

    Gore peeps in the house

Eventually we made it out into the sidecountry

Bucket was also in the house, I saw his famous skis stuck in the snow but never laid eyes on him.

This weekend, Plattekill is giving season passers from other hills 50% off. One per and you need your pass + an ID that matches.

Thoughts on this weekends storm? Particularly for the higher elevation points in the dacks or vt

I'm seeing bad predictions online and good ones on tv

    I like tv's 5-8" outlook so far...

As per Peruvian it's only healthy to go with whatever forecast best jives with your personal desires.

It's becoming concerning, as the worse the weather this weekend, the more flooring I have to lay. Skiing > Flooring

I don't know what to make out of this one. The NWS BTV forecasters aren't confident in much of anything. Hoping for 6" on the higher summits of the ADK. Weather today is brutal but at least it's 42 instead of the 48 they were thinking as of yesterday. Summit of WF hasn't been above freezing for more than a few hours.
