Unfortunately, they lost all power at 11:45. I was already pretty cooked from yesterday, so no complaints.

50k vert in two days with 28” yesterday and another 12” on top of that for 40” total and it was all of 40” for sure in places. Stratton was absolutely amazing. Yesterday was refills all day, today was almost as good. First tracks in the ravine and Free Fall which turned into 7 more laps. Just unreal good for the east coast. It helped that shooting star didn’t run and kept people from wanting to run out to the Sun bowl. Bad decisions on their part.

Either way, it worked. It was pounding all day at Smuggs. So much so that Doremite and I didn’t pull out the camera once. It would have gotten soaked.

Trail runs, trees, hidden trees, side country laps…it was all deep and much lighter than either of us anticipated. My legs were cooked well before the untracked ran out.

Get it before the heat miser comes for a visit.

When Lynchdog was Patrol Director at Magic, he always cleared Red Line. Jeff with a G deserves one every now and then.

Not as good as the runs that aren’t on the map. Doremite was a great guide today.

Had a couple buddies from Chester County rally up to Belleayre yesterday and today's Platty powder day to untracked 24-30". Got a pic from the lift at 10am of something like three trenches underneath. If I weren't headed to UT on Friday I'd be loosing my mind.

Today wuz thee day to convince him the hole is worth worming into but to Peruvian’s point all else was so killer we just didn’t get to it. Viz was weird up high too so we took what was given. Not a complaint to be had. Deeper and softer than anticipated.
