yea lots of yard sales yesterday. hope boarder on plunge was ok.

i took a couple of tumbles, one in woods below cat track that cost me a BD traverse (if anyone comes across: old bronze top shaft, black lower with big, old school powder basket. if anyone finds please pm). each time hard to get up and out. poles too short!

Eastcoast Roll Call TwoTwo/TwoThree A Slow Start to a Big Finish

Snow dried out a lot overnight. Dropped a car in the Vale lot at Killington and started at Pico. Pico had a corporate takeover yesterday, you can rent the hill on Tuesday and Wednesday for $6,500. I heard it was about a hundred people, so there was plenty left on the sides and trees, especially over on the Outpost side. Finished at Killington, ate lunch at the new lodge which was excellent. Jug and Handle nice packed pow, skiers left on Lower Oviation was spicy fun. Glad winter showed up for awhile.
Heading to see DSO in Rutland tonight!

I don’t know the model name but somebody left one that looks like these at the bottom of the double. It had some duct tape wrapped around it just below the grip, probably ended up in lost & found.

^^ thanks, i got excited for a moment but you likely saw my pole...i'd brought it over to show the lift operator what the lost pole looked like. i expect i'll be hiking around there after the woods melt down a bit...damn thing got swallowed whole!

Yeah, Tramline is my favorite lift service run in the East. It's not open often due to Cannon's lack of snow and the size of the sharks. A halfway decent base and the density of yesterday's snow made it really nice. When skiers left is on, it's an especially beautiful ride.

Amen. And I recognize the other spots.
Tramline is covered with rubble so needs quite a deep snow to fill in. But it's in! And when the tram isn't running it gets very little traffic along with kinsman glade and the trail one past that.

After a mechanical took the lift out after 5 runs we wandered to Castlerock for 5 hours of the wheel hitting lines I hadn't skied in years.

How are the elan 96s- still treating you right? I've fallen in love with mine so hard and are contemplating the 106s for my next purchase.
