Any ECRC folks heading to Utah this year and want to ferry back some flat skis to VT in exchange for brews? Pm me if you can help a mag out. TIA!

Was there last weekend, Jet and UN were ok all things considered, but after this week's rain, I'm not too excited for tomorrow. I would wait until next weekend if I were you - as of now opensnow claiming 11in fri-sun. I'm sure it'll just vanish as date approaches but one can hope

Agreed, OpenSnow should not be trusted, it's a corporate big ski media outlet that was set up to spread misinformation and increase skier visits by distributing predatorily false snowfall forecasts.
That being said, the ECMWF radar does looks promising however the GFS does not agree at all so it's anyone's guess.
I'll report back how Jay is after tomorrow; I'm going mainly for the pass holders party (read as: 3 hour open bar + appetizer buffet), definitely more stoked for the party than the skiing itself but hey ya never know, these kind of conditions are what makes us eastcoasters the best skiers on the planetmy head is perpetually in the clouds

Just wanted to thank VT and ME for a good time last weekend. Spent Friday night in Augusta waiting to make the call about Sunday River or Sugarloaf on Saturday, but my nephew needed to rent and Sunday River's website said they had to be reserved two weeks in advance, so we went to the 'loaf in the morning. It was wet and on a wind hold. At 10:30 we decided to make something of the day and ditch to go to Sunday River with our vouchers and got a couple hours in. Drove to Rutland that night and was pleasantly surprised by Killington on Sunday. It was cold and fast, just like I remembered from 20 years ago!

Medium icy, medium crowds on piste. Short lift lines. Very few pebbles and dirt.

Eastcoast Roll Call TwoTwo/TwoThree A Slow Start to a Big Finish
It is good, very close to Quebec City. Skied it many years ago and was impressed with the mountain and the lack of crowds. Will likely go back there this season. Le Massif is also close and everyone says it’s even better than Mt Ste Anne
Doh! I just connected the dots. I guess they’re having issues at MSA. Le Massif is just down the roadLast edited by charlesj; 12-11-2022 at 04:47 AM.
