    Go to Vandenburg.

    Cons: Smaller rockets.
Pros: Great wine, good surf, beautiful women, not Florida.

Artemis realized everyone's dream of leaving Florida as fast as humanly possible. She's just better at it than anyone has ever been.

Pretty sweet view from this morning

If I did my numbers right, it’s like being in a car doing 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, but for five minutes straight.

This probably falls into the "and Beyond." We watched this over the weekend. Biblical.

It's so cool to see. His school book fair was this last week and damn if he didn't take home a stack of space exploration books because of all this.

Thanksgiving day he saw Snoopy in his spacesuit in the parade which led to a conversation about Peanuts' (and Schulz') long connection with NASA which led us to finding out that Snoopy is in fact aboard Artemis/Orion as the zero-gravity indicator. Kid thought that was totally awesome.

Unbelievable image. As amazing as that view is though, it's also a reminder that SO much work has been done to get to this point yet we still haven't even gotten off our front porch.

I have this in my queue; do you think its too much/too dry for kids, or is the storytelling good enough to keep their attention?

Our 6 and 8 year old loved it, definitely not too dry. We had given them a quick primer about how long the rovers were expected to last and how long they actually lasted. Not sure if that helped.
