I can envision a meet-cute 10 years from now, when JHyatt and VTskibum's kids meet on a lift or a skintrack somewhere and a romance is born.

Delays killed Club Med at Snowbasin. Who steps in and when on a new plan to price us out even more?

[tin foil hat time] word around snowbasin is that the core's they dug in the wildcat parking lot didn't checkout so they are looking at doing something else hotel related at the bottom of strawberry and thus the acceleration of the new lift to get out of there.

Just a taste of the shade that would emanate from a club med:
“Snowbasin is reassessing their development plans on the mountain, instead focusing on improving the skier experience,” the statement said.

ski areas just can't win.... its either not enough parking or too many parking lots.

wouldn't need to build another parking lot if you limited capacity via reservations on the ikon.

Been bumming around LCC and BCC last couple days. Great time. Eying SnowBasin, the trail map looks sweet. Exaggerated or no? Worth the detour? The alternative is a day of Jackson hot laps before turning for home.

Really good today at Solitude. Too deep for my kiddos, despite my daughters valiant attempt. They bailed for hanging w mom and I got to rip around all day. Deep turns a plenty!!

Will be around Bird tomorrow afternoon and Sat & likely Alta Fri with wife and kid.

Any Bird pass holders got a 50% for an ex pat Utahrd and OG mag for Sat?

Better parking at Jackson. Plus you have to pay for it so it keeps the riff raff away. The parking at Snowbasin is free, full of freeloaders from Ogden.

Parking aside, the bathrooms are not to be missed at Snowbasin. I usually try to avoid shitting at ski resorts, but I pop a laxative on the way up to Snowbasin for full enjoyment.

I lulled. Not wrong about the bathrooms though; I put them up against any others in the Wasatch (and beyond).

I agree that Jackson is better than Basin, but lately Basin has been dead. Ski on empty chairs during powder days. Yesterday was amazing.
