Wasatch 22/23 - Gondolas, grooming highboy, and other comical anecdotes

    What it is:
    Snow Obs
    Stoke
    Community Building
    Heckling

    What it's not:
Gondola and traffic talk (who am I kidding).

See you in the white room

The dawn patrol crowd going up Collins was all time this morning but so was the stoke and the snow!

BTW did anything ever happen with the shindig on the 4th or 5th? Would love to meet up with more of you all.

Ghosthop, you still in? Pot luck?
If not, I gotta place that'll work well at the bottom of the LCC.

    Now it feels like winter!

Also interested in putting more faces to names if a get together date is finalized.

I can contribute an elk roast (uncooked), and I can bring my raclette set along with some cheese.

Anyone here have a guess which shops might have under binding cant strips in stock? Need two 1.5 degree. Hoping to get my new touring skis mounted up before this next storm cycle or I'd just order them online.

Called Podium up in PC and they had no idea.

Skimoco installed shims on the toes for me two years ago. They should have mm risers in stock, not sure about ramped shims though.

Mag get together next Saturday the 5th.
4883 E. Wasatch Resort Rd. which is 2/3 of a mile up the LCC on the right.
1st place on the left above the mailboxes, can walk up the stairs by the dumpsters as well.
Don't worry about the no parking signs in the resort, but don't park in the middle of the road either.
More parking in the Grit Mill lot across the highway.
Feel free to show up anytime in the afternoon, coming down from skiing, etc.
Raclette appetizers courtesy of schindlerpiste and sfb.
Indoors spaghetti dinner 6pm til its gone.
    BYO whatever.
Fire pit will be going afternoon into the evening.
    Come one, come all...
