    I tried to screenshot onX but it appears NE of Raymond peak is not wilderness, not sure if that matches or not, but there are some patches of non-wilderness up there

And indeed, I've never once seem them in white pine/maybird. Anyone know the deal?

    I heard from multiple people that Buxton and his goons were hanging out on the Cardiff road yesterday with guns visible demanding skiers turn around and threatening them. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone planning to head up that way.

    It boggles my mind how much political pull the powderbirds have had over the years

    I was pretty happy with Daniel Preece at Foot and Ankle Specialists in marmalade, went for 2 different injuries.

    There were so few people doing serious BC skiing in the early '80s that it probably didn't even require that much pull at the time.

    Right? I've never once seen their bird drop clients on top of something interesting. They ski the Cabin Run from higher than anyone else so clients get to traverse 1/2 miles of wind jank just to get into the line. They routinely drop people at Alexander pass to skit the benched out shite entrance to the drainage. Anything they ski in White Pine is blah, including the shit they were on early this week: lower half of LongJon traversing into lower half of TriChute apron. Is it even possible to get them to contemplate half-interesting terrain if they have the right group?

    Was wondering when that would happen this season, it was only a matter of time. Clearly these fat fucks found the weather sufficiently appealing to finally get off their asses. Skied the Hallway last weekend and took a piss on the flagpole they set up next to the mining structure at the bottom of the tube. Couldn't have thought of a better place.

    Guns visible is right on the edge of aggravated assault I think?

    An actor commits aggravated assault if the actor:
    (a)
    (i) attempts, with unlawful force or violence, to do bodily injury to another;
    (ii) makes a threat, accompanied by a show of immediate force or violence, to do bodily injury to another; or
    (iii) commits an act, committed with unlawful force or violence, that causes bodily injury to another or creates a substantial risk of bodily injury to another; and

    (b) includes in the actor's conduct under Subsection (2)(a) the use of:
    (i) a dangerous weapon;

    Thanks for the foot doc names. As usual you guys kick ass. Daughter needs some help with a sprain that isn’t healing right.

    Not keeping her from skiing though. Just buckle everything up tighter and yer good …

    Also Telee, hope your daughter’s foot came through and is back in one piece.

    If it's nothing that requires surgery and is more of a PT/rehab issue seek out Mike Orr at Ultimate Sports Performance in South Jordan.

    IANAL but no, I don't think guns being visible and telling people not to trespass even comes close to aggravated assault. I've been politely told by landowners to leave their property with guns visible on a handful of occasions, with the law taking their side in one of the exchanges.

    Also not a lawyer but as much as I'd like to see these clowns served, Utah is "Constitutional Carry" state since '21. Anyone over 18 can open carry and anyone over 21 can carry concealed. No permits needed. It's a bit fuckin much if you ask me but there it is...

    Yeah, one of neighbors at my fishing property always walks around with a revolver and ammo belt on. It’s a little weird but I always just figure he’s really scared of snakes. Buxton’s afraid of snow snakes?

    You may not consider them "serious" but some of the people skiing BC pre Wasangeles in the 80s had guns too...

    To be clear though, Utah’s been open carry for ever so unless they were brandishing that behavior is and has been perfectly legal, if unnecessary. The leg. just added the permitless concealed stuff in ‘21.

    They skied packing heat? I guess I just don't see the point. Some people will cite threats from mountain lions or other wildlife. Sounds like a stretch to me. If you're after dinner that's one thing...

    So TM thinks danger is higher today than yesterday, and somehow the danger has spread from aspect-specific (leeward slopes) to also being present on the windward side?
