Gondolawerks has agreed to do a presentation at my place tonight to convince you all of the errors in your thinking.

    It's scheduled for 3 o'clock.

    Hoping everyone will stick around.

Went for a walk up in Cardiff explored some tubes, always cool to ride something new(ish) ....pretty decent coverage but still riding very cautious had a couple small rock strikes...warm temps, damp powder, snowing lightly all day with no noticeable accumulation, raining below Mineral frk...next wave of new snow should bond well...strong winds gusting on and off at higher elevations...prob see some reactive wind slabbage at higher elevations/ ridgelines....guessing any instabilities will be short lived tho....pretty good start so far.

Jimmy, thanks for hosting. Uta and I had a wonderful time. We are lucky to have such a good group representing the Wasatch. It was definitely worth missing the last game of the World Series. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the hill and beyond.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Glad to see you folks having fun and hanging together in celebration of winter. We were riding bikes in mid 70º temps this weekend waiting for something to happen. Thinking early -mid January arrival for some Utah skiing.

TFW has one of the sweetest ski bum pads anywhere, livin the dream my brother.

I too promptly noticed the Lifelink pole and self arrest rig. And I'm guessing that's a Chouinard Ice axe? Had almost that exact one if not identical.

Damn sorry I missed this get together, lotsa solid mags and surely one of the best local crews on this board.
Inbounds or out, you guys are a beehive of action...

Did the same lap yesterday. Emmas was really shallow, hit rock on almost every turn. West bowl was really good though

I did Emmas - not west bowl - last year and felt pretty dumb. In my mind on the way up I was thinking "Why isn't anyone skiing that, we got two feet!!!" Oh, because everyone knows its all rocks dummy and how long have I lived here not to know not to ski that? Too long.

I think that was early December last year, not early November.
