I went on a skibatical 2016 for eighty nights with forty or so in the car with the rest in hotels huts tents and couches. Van life was just taking off, but I had places all to myself in winter. Guessing it is much more crowded nowadays

^noice! Yeah I'll ping you when im coming though. We can skin or whatever. None of my passes work around you, but next year if that ski cooper pass is still basically an Indy I'm grabbing one of those.

Heading out to the Bridger's today to shuffle around and continue to knock the rust off.

Some places, but not really. I've been full time for over 2 years, 6 winters in the van. Mammoth was van central. But that's LA..

Most ppl don't van full time in winter unless they are in the desert.

Gah, I wish you meant Copper. So close.

Oh! We need to figure out how to get onto that snowcat. That would be fun.

drove out to ski hurricane ridge this weekend on the olympic peninsula, plow truck caught fire, no road maintenance, no ski area.

looped around the peninsula, good to see the ocean.

Add in flat terrain and you'll be all set.

I'm starting to study the Chicago Ridge situation, maybe some good touring opportunity there.
