    Where are you?
Tram line not too deep? Bang as much sublette as you can

Gondi not too deep? Head for thunder. Do as many as you can unless you see sublette is good.
Thunder too deep? Bang a few marmots.

Gondi fubar? Sweet water to Casper or Teton.

Good luck. Delayed openings suck standing around. And then it’s epic

PS. There’s always the gates. But that’s a very delayed opening. They must have had some weird shit break loose. OB might be sketch.

27” in 24 hours. Holy shit.

Thank you my friends. It was a special morning, a great run in a life of getting paid well.
    It deserved a mention.

Today didn't match yesterdays head game but I really must say, it was a stunner.

I made one run this morning and waited 5 hours for it in the tram line.
Not because I had to or even needed to.

At 4 am I saw how much fresh had fallen and lay there thinking, go or stay?

I chose to slow roll it and just start moving. In line a few clicks before 6, 7 woulda gotten ya on first car. EastorBust was like #90 on my tram car . What time did you kooks arrive?

Saw at least 4 different mags in line, Supergaper was posted up early and ready to get busy, fat new Kastles in tow...

Ripped offa the top towards the far drift with mag lindenle and enjoyed kneedeep snow all the way down the bowl. It was deep enough that ya kinda had to GS it as stopping was a problem. Hudge piles of snow in the crotch was an issue this am. Fall line youse biotches!
We get stuck in a dell for a 50 yard wallow, but then the game was afoot.

We roll up to Ross' slide and I slash the rock face into a slideage around me for about 8 turns, about waist deep standing still but pushing on; he drops into the slot and Disappears.
    Full on white room engulfment.
Pointing it too into a white explosion. Fucking tits my friend, that was rad.

I cruise left, can't see shit for the absolute 30" just pluming me as I side slope then peel in.
I didn't see or feel a positive orientation for about 30 pow turns.
Aiming and hoping, I was on the shovels, then the tails, centered, feeling good, not so good.
The entire time a plume is over my head and I'm remembering the turn breath turn technique. Been a coupla years since I needed that.

I betcha if I made 1000 turns down in that one run, 900 were above boots, 400 were kneedeep, 750 had smacky face shots and 150 were full on white room, where the fuck am I? kinda turns.

It was a Hella great lap for me and my bro-mag.

Reading the snow report was awkward this am. Hard to deduce where 27" came from but it worked out.
Still a coupla wonky numbers but I'm here to fuckin tell ya, there was easily between 16"-40" aaaaaaall over the place.
Lindenle rolled a pillow in RS and it went over his shoulder as he kept pushing on. We don't take no pics.

    Never been a “local”

    But had several seasons.

Today and yesterday seem epic. Wow. Stoked for you all.

Been on a few bombing runs. And a few early ups waiting for a rope drop.

    Siiiickter scale off the charts.

PS. Djongo “turn breathe turn technique”. Lol. Been too long for me. But damn. That’s the good shit. Congrats.

How does the mountain change during the Kings and Queens of Corbetts week? Is the tram closed for all but the athletes and support staff? Good week for skiers to be at JHMR, or bad week?

It’s a nothing burger. You can’t ski corbetts. But that’s it. It’s almost better since people are standing around in tensleep bowl to watch instead of clogging lift lines.

My buddy said today’s were some of the deepest of his life, if not THE deepest. Needed a good pitch to actually make turns.

My buddy got a short video of me breaking trail…not sure how to post (.mov).

Are you by any chance competing this year?

33 years in and I'm still chasing epic moments, lines, runs, days, seasons.

Schindler, as CS mentioned, the comp will have zero negative effect on your day. And watching, if not brutal weather, can be pretty exciting, I hate to say.

A windy storm was a suhweeet reset for us.

    Jfc UAN.

Number two and four are insane.
    Amazing pics.

    They’ll never get published.
Too much snow not enough skier. Lol. Holeeeee foook

PS. Maybe number four. That could be a cover shot.
So many “deep pow” photos are mid turn slash in knee to waist.

Number four is full on white room. Wow.
I would buy a print of that.
PPS. Number four looks like the same pic you posted earlier. But square. You need the wide format for the trees and landscape. It really is amazing.

ha. posted that from after being in teton lift for an hour waiting for them to open. Pretty much nothing upper mountain was open including sublette.

day started rough getting the snowmachine stuck twice which put me back 45 mins. I have no idea how to run them and it's deep out here up the hoback and I have a trail sled. Turns out running late didn't matter at all as lifts didn't open for a few hours.

Lapped teton about 5 laps with conditions as django described the first two laps on moran face. Ran into ski220 and stevied in teton lift line and skied trees off teton a few laps. Lots of great pockets to hit. Went over to thunder for a few then to sublette for a few.

Caught last tram box of the day with a hoback to finish

Deep everywhere, what a day (again). What a storm. Fun meeting up and running laps with everyone this weekend.

Telehacker's hill didn't suck today. Trying to sneak back tomorrow AM if I'm not changing diapers. We'll have to link up TH, I'm a bit of a cripple on skis at the moment but getting healthier.
