Wondering if anyone has a kastle BMX hp 105 186 in their garage. Busted a binding and an edge on my right ski and looking for a replacement. I know it has to be out their. Thanks for any leads.

Checking in from the west side. Did a classic tour with my best gals and it was phenomenal. We are just back from Belize so my butt got kicked, which of course I loved and needed. Too white for pics today but here's a passion flower from Sunday . Happy winter, folks!

    OMG.
Had to wait an extra 45 minutes for the first box this morning.
We were afraid it was going to mess up our plans but it was was well worth it.
Unbelievable deep soft off the top. Face shot with every right turn. Once again, first tracks RS.
Ran into Bullwinkle right before the Hoback entrance on the low traverse. Or I should say he almost ran into me. I took a dive.
Walked on for a second lap. Just as good if not even better.

    .

Sitting on the plane, knowing that it’s still snowing on the mountain and reading this. Wishing I was there too.
What a stretch of season firsts and openings.
Great meeting a bunch of mags again. And some new ones.
Supposedly someone has some pics but I haven’t seen them yet. Post ‘‘em up !

Hope to see and ski you all soon.

Yep, the wait for first tram paid off. I ended up doing tram/Sublett laps all day with an AV run at the end. Even had decent powder on the AV lap. Definitely the best early season day that I can remember!
My legs are toast. Ski ya all later.

I did that, and Bernies and South Colter, though I had been skiing those for a few days heh.

Talk to Justin at Nomad/Mudroom, he might know someone- my friend has one of my old pairs but they must have about 500 days on them- I'll ask him if he has them still (he got ZX 108s)

That was a helluva good day. skied laps from the quad to Teton and found the most untracked in early Moran woods.
Turns were top notch all over the place. Wind loaded light pow on the recent stiff pow has made a great bashing surface.
Fresh or tracked, fun to ski. Underfoot is becoming smoother and the fear of cartwheeling is slipping away.

Twas good to ski ya again Eagle, holla next lap for more time turning.

More laps today with Schindler and the missus. Fun pow laps to finish. Thanks for the Thai dinner and ski ya in a month or so.

    Pow day!

    Wow, sleeper pow day today.

Yesterday's wind loading really did a number and leveled the whole upper mountain with about 10-20" of fresh deposition.
Firsties in R. bowl did not suck, holy fuck.
Nor in Cheyenne woods, steep wind whipped lumps, smoother than they will be for the rest of the season.

Tram laps for the win today. Legs are working in.

It's nice to have so much stiff pack yet not so much as to flatten the steep stuff. So often the steeper lines slough off but this base is soft, but carvy firm.

Sure has been a fun opening.

Been working over here in Alta, WY for the last week. Putting a house together in all this snow has got me thinking about moving North.

Anyone have any leads on “affordable” housing for me and my girlfriend for the winter? Driggs, Victor, anywhere on this side. I’d be skiing Targhee if I make the move.

Pm WMD, he had a place in the teton valley with mag attitude a few weeks back. Maybe page back and read.

That would be a great connection.

Wasn't there a condo posted here several weeks back in Victor?

Nice work DJ, I heard it was choice out there. Anyone know if the Hobacks opened today? Sure looked like it from afar unless that's just SG's good work

Managed a bootpack at Snowking, snow pretty good there on trail for early Dec. But was missing the village knowing what was going down there. Had one run down Cirque yday, so smooth. Had two thoughts, this is easily one of my best runs ever, and second that this must be what is like to be UAN every day!

Haha — the highlight reel doesn't reflect it but my life has a fair bit of $h!t-shoveling. I try to make it a priority to find something in each day to enjoy.

Today featured some sunny, fun powder — amazing texture. There was definitely a suncrust out there if you picked the wrong aspect!

JACKSON 2022/23 {Tetons, Snakes, Gros Ventre, Winds, Wyoming Range, etc.)

Also just catching up on my photos from the past mag filled weekend.
Great times as all have noted. Super fun to run into Ski220 in tram line with views of Kokomas who got up earlier than we did and was rewarded.
I also have to reiterate that someone was making bacon on a camp stove in tram line- it really helped the time pass by.

Andrew is headed out in a bit for a night ski. It got too cold for my tastes so I took a pass and will hold down the fort.
Skiing early Fri though and over the weekend. My free ski days on the 10 day end this sunday

So flights are super cheap this winter... what's up with snow king? Worth a trip out there? Skied Jackson Hole a few times so wouldn't be that sad to miss it

SK is fun as hell on a pow day, or on fast groomers, but it is really Jr. League. More of a locals skin up/after school/hit a few laps at lunch kind of hill.
