I really enjoyed skiing at the vill yesterday. First time this year, and stayed solo as we barely made it here due to the fam being under the weather.

The day got better and better and it was cool to see a lot of the community on the tram dock

This should be a real nice weekend/week

Cool to feel the stoke of a
    Big winter that keeps rolling

Up to about 3’ at the Ghee since 2AM. We got everything but Colters going, probably the deepest snow I’ve seen in 15yrs.

So, I have a 10-digit code already (full comp if relevant).

Does that mean I can go to the window (or machine) and get what I need? I have a J-card/am in the JHMR system; I don't think the pass was assigned to me by the person who gave it to me.

Will that cause a problem? Is my friend going to have to be present when I show up? That's not going to happen.
Never had to go online and assign my buddy passes.
Gave all my buddy passes away early this year to friends.
Here’s how it worked for them online (if I remember correctly).
Go to JHMR and click on the day you want.
    Click on “Add”.
    Click on “View cart”
    Click on “Apply coupon”
Type in your 10 digit code.

That’s as far as I can get as I do not really want
to purchase a ticket, nor do I have any discount
    codes left.
If you still have a problem, ticket office under the
tram opens at 8am. They are very helpful.

'Ghee had issues with the road and parking, but the skiing was all time. 41 turns+41 face shots with out crossing a track is deluxe white room accommodations in my book. Colter had not opened when I headed for the exits, More skid deluxe tomorrow.

Hats off to patrol getting everything going. Today was one that I hope to remember forever and relive someday.

Thanks! "Apply coupon" didn't accept the 10-digit codes I have. They are full comps, not 50%, so not sure if that makes a difference... though I don't see why.

I wound up reaching the pass office on the phone, eventually, on my drive to the Vill. They were able to link the code to my profile which was already set up in the system.

Winds out of the WSW last night wrapping to the WNW/NW definitely affected lots of terrain. Got a lot of pockets to pop today.

You know it's DEEP trail breaking when the person 3 seconds behind you can't even see the tails of your skis!

Made it home today from Belize and Guatemala after being out of town for two weeks. Landed and KJAC at noon, drove home, blew 3+ feet of snow off my driveway and then skied the deepest snow I've ever skied the last hour and a half at the Ghee.

Were any of you at Targhee maybe 15 or 20 years ago when we had something like 59” in a 24 hour period? (My wife remembers vividly, as that is her exact height)
    It was insane.
Almost unskiable for many people. I was on a 195 swallowtail board, and still getting stuck!

    Lol fucking epic day kevo.

Met a random in first box tram line who wanted to go out to 4 pines . Sure I’ll go too!

We (he) broke trail on first pitch. Second box more fit ones caught up and broke trail rest of the way in mostly waist deep. I was sweating buckets by the time we finally made it there to ski wind slab. Finally back to tram at 1130 drenched and cold. Spent the next 90 mins inside trying to warm up and dry off. Made a good day skiing close to closing bell and hitting the band on tram deck. Was nice to ski chill to close out the day. Lots of thunder and sublette chute laps. Snow was great today!

Targhee did not suck today. I skied my deepest laps just before closing and the snow was still coming down. Sunday might be even better.

Ha ha that was our day for sure. Here's @panchosdad taking his turn out front. And another pic of some of the wind's effects. Too amazing to stop and pull out the phone on the way down. Snow on top of my goggles, flowing over my head. Old crust 2' down plus cold temps kept it fast for the depths. Addiction means that you never get enough, right?

(I ran it by her, and she concedes she could be wrong, but thought she saw that number on the board)
