You can still link even though it's a pop up. The link in the search bar changes when you click an ob.

Quiet day in Mail Cabin as well. Ran into an OG in a less-traveled spot which is always fun.

If you want a good chuckle, I just got recorded for the Teton Backcountry Alliance audio avalanche forecast on KHOL tomorrow. Ha!

Nice, it took about a week after new years for crowds to peter out; this weekend is local and ikon blackout for base passes too. Maybe a skiff of snow to boot.
Come by saturday if ya can.

Good, we're stacked and packed at the waxroom. Alas, no volcano this year.

All you mags know where I reside, swing by. Look for the floating snowflakes across the garage door.

Thank you! Hadn't seen that one.

Found some deep/light/untracked today. Nice when the only people you run into are 2 you know at the end of the day in the parking lot.

Ok, which one do we prefer?
The deep splash in the first one or the beauty tree in #2?
    Ripples or double sluff?
    Leaning to 2 here.

UaN, you have wheels? Borrow the old pathy if ya need something...

    Wow... SUPER kind of you.

Think I'm OK at the moment. Tried to fire up my old Land Cruiser. Battery was dead and didn't accept a trickle charge overnight. I've gotta sort out if there is a blown fuse or short somewhere... just haven't had time. Any expertise in that?

Most likely a blown fuse for me to track down.

Going with #2 here. Like the anticipated action and movement.

Sounds like a good time in the wax room Sat. Wish I could fly back out on short notice and escape this land of endless warmth and crap conditions. Enjoy this season guys, it's been a great start!

Shooting very shallow depth of field (f/2.8 if you speak that language).

    Thanks!

I think that is my fave out of about 30 images in the sequence. The sluff makes it for me.

If a battery is super dead, a trickle charger will read it as a fault and not charge it. Try jumper cables to get it started before trying to chase electrons.

#2 FTW. Maybe the best so far this season IMO.

You all cannot believe how dismal it is back east....

Lemme know if ya want to use the pathfinder. Mostly a valley car but can keep you on a schedule if ya need to.

I can help you later on the battery if ya have time, gonna go out and see if I can still make a turn.
The cooley slot behind the skier is hawt, jus sayin'.

I have to go with the stuff management image too. It just puts you right there in the moment.
Rock solid and coiled for action skier technique, tree and even the shape of the peaks in the background work so well.
I am rolling into town on Tuesday - can't wait. My crew is on IR so looking for inbounds and OB adventures with others.

Jackson peak and Cache peak in the center distance.

Gforce - welcome back, was wondering when we'd hear from you. Outstanding.
I'm on/off the bench myself but plenty of mags in town these next few days, weeks.

My mom has a birthday dinner on Saturday night in Teton Village, so I probably won't make it to the wax room party. But know I will be cheersing you all from afar.
Another pass black out for me on Sat/Sun too but then back to skiing the vill Monday. Maybe a fireplace meet up is on order?

I may have an early gondi ride and some skiing with my my cousin but if that doesn’t materialize I’ll try to make the fireplace meet up.
