Maybe you got lucky? had some good turns in chainsaw and spankys but nothing crazy, and certainly nothing compared to sunday last week, had a run down bushrat where i choked on so much snow i thought i was gonna die.
Still a great day though, slack hopefully good today and all weekend.

On another note, a friend who works for the mountain says to stay off 7th.
They are cannibalizing other chairs to just try and keep it running.
Fitz will close in the next 2 weeks to start prep for the new chair.

I wonder how a 6 is going to work for the bike park, they’ll have to modify all the bike carriers, or maybe they’ll only load 4 during the summer? loading 4 bikes seems to cause enough confusion in the summer, and they would need another employee at the top if they were loading 6.

I put in a non suicide skin track ACMG style no lifters climbers left thru mature timber on Cowboy Gorgeous widely spaced trees. Ski pen was 50+ cms so took 1 hrs the first time but 2nd 3rd laps were just 20 mins. That will avoid a lot of Cowboy traffic. Skiers left Apostles also has much less traffic.
Also stuck a few tracks skiers left on Corral and it was untouched yday

Whistler 22-23
Fun day with some surprise wind sift and good vis on Peak and Spankys. Nice just ripping around the resort on soft snow with zero lift lines, been a while since I’ve done that.

Very nice snow conditions. Had fun on-piste and off. Yesterday was great, too, albeit with sometimes challenging lighting/visibility.

How long is the hike to the Grey Zone? Every time I ride Crystal I think "I've got to ski that sometime" but somehow I've never gotten up there.

I'm not sure if last weekend was an anomaly or if maybe the worst crowds of the winter are over. I checked my stats after skiing on Sunday the 5th and I got in 30 runs. I used the singles line exclusively, but still.

Next Tues/Weds looking like I may be heading up, see how this storm shapes up. Agree with Todd about Creekside and Red chewing lines (and singles). Really just Peak that can be painful on Whistler. Harmony is easy to bang out laps on pow days, after it opens I find it’s your third run before the line starts to get long, really only on weekends too.
