I saw Purder near PG is for sale too. If the $8M is a stretch this might be up your alley. Apparently you can put a price on powder skiing (6M more)

RMR today still had a bit of tracked out soft snow in greely bowl. Expect high traffic spots to be polished hardpack. Best skiing this afternoon were mid-mountain runs once the sun had softened them. Cover still holding up pretty well.

The rockies often have big upslope storms in the spring. Not unheard of to have nakiska or tge mighty quay get the best storm of the year, but then april at rmr has been really good most years. Thjs years snowpack will disappear fast though. 1/3 of tge snowpack is already rotten

Thanks for the beta as always! The Revy corn cycle info should come in handy.

We had more unused days at Revy, so reserved a couple nights. (Just in case anyone else is deciding, since this means there should be a solid storm hitting Banff any minute. Or Revy by, oh, Sunday.)

Couple days at SSV, and the southside chutes are pretty rocky, but the weekend/early week snow was helping. Last day of skiing today, and going to stick to SSV as the kids like it and apparently LL isn’t that great right now.

Some slides between the chutes and delirium, and a big one up/past wawa. Don’t think anybody was skiing there. They were triggering some slides with explosives on Tuesday.

I have pulled in late and stayed in my truck camper in an industrial/repair shop area on a street in the east part of Banff. I think it was off the last street that connects to Hwy 1 when heading toward Calgary...no homes in the immediate area, just businesses.

I thought Louise skied great yesterday.

Did a lap down Bighorn in Whitehorn Chutes there were definitely some rocks to avoid in the choke but the rest of the run was beautiful perfect chalky goodness.

Front side was firm but only icey in a few patches and warmed up to perfect corn in the PM.

There is an RV dumpsite there. To the west of that is a small parking lot and nobody will bother you there. That area is Canada Parks / Brewster bus depot / my dogs daycare.

    Should have checked here.

Oh well. Last day was good anyway, and spent most of the day with the kids. Did kind of a tour of SSV with the older kid, and she seemed to have good time.

Back on the flatland now, planning next winter’s mountain trip(s).

Little old news, but got a closer look at the slide at ”the bottom” of Delirium.
