Either that or a pizza/french fry eating contest. Wash it down with a Bend IPA.

“Brian Dobias, POWDR’s Senior Vice President of Finance, will serve as the interim General Manager of Mt. Bachelor “

    I’m sure that’ll go well

Clearly. I only spent 10 minutes hanging out on NWX. Should have been at least 30 minutes.

Mcleod was head of finance before becoming GM...

by "hanging out", you mean sitting on a stationary chair somewhere between terminals? Or in line waiting for it to restart?

Sitting between terminals. Somewhere between terminals 2 and 3 I think. Had only been moving for about a minute when it stopped

Think how much fun it would be to buy a Fast Tracks pass on a pow day and then get stuck on NWX for half hr

Ahh, what’s wrong with me? …I just can’t get myself up for Meadows on weekends anymore, not even on powder day, weekend hoards, lift issues, limited terrain… time to pack my bag!

    I'm dreaming of a white Crystal ~~
Just like the one I used to know
    Where all the lifts spin
    And hotbox toppin'
To hear my skis swish in the trees ~~

Weekends are a tough pill to swallow if you’re able to ski midweek, even on a day it’s dumping. It’s amateur hour on the roads and the lift lines are frequently a total drag. The line at MHX doesn’t look to terrible on the webcam today so perhaps the folks who went up are having the time of their lives.

Just think if you bought a Fast Tracks pass and only Red and Little Pine were spinning. Actually, on 2nd thought, it might be worth it.

Yeahhh... We got sniped by a group of fastpass-ing snowboard bros. The tinge of resentment quickly turned to pity. Oh yeah...get it guys...woo....

    Chances of NW spinning tomorrow?

^^^You neglect to factor in the mechanical side of the equation.

@Huskydoc, do you think sitting in a dead chair for 30 min is a good opportunity to reflect on your life, or do you view it as a major annoyance?

How would you feel about walking out from there?

How ‘bout getting hosed down with hydraulic fluid?

Upside - The winds shouldn’t pound you while you sit there tomorrow, as interloper notes
