The snow on Hood is pretty good right now and should stay good for a few days before it warms up.

Great you’re getting out, but where is any good snow in that pic? We must have different definitions of pretty good haha

Yeah they made the call around 2 on Sunday.

Conditions were kinda carnage tbh. Very firm and slick and raw on piste... virtually unridable off piste. I wouldn't be surprised if ski patrol had a loaded sled for every half hour on Sunday.

Looking down off the lift, it was like watching bull riding. People could only hold on for like 8 seconds before falling lol.

Is Snowvana any good to attend?

What's the strategy to get free stuff? Lol

Was thinking about checking it out and watching the TGR film screening since Timberline is closed

I was pulled in last year to support a friend and thought it was ok. Covid was still keeping some people away but it had mall vibes, you know you’re going to find better deals online but it’s still nice to get eyes on some things.

I wouldn’t go again, rather just go peruse Evo or Next Adventure if I was in the market for something.

We did get free tickets to Mt Ashland and some other decent swag we actually used but didn’t need. Next Adventure was giving out free plastic kids skis to kids under 2

Looking at the 10 day I’m afraid it’s going to rain up high mid-week. Fingers crossed temps drop.

Sounds like it might be more of a do-it-once kind of thing to see what it's all about

Oregon 2022/2023 Triple Nina Winter Season

Passing through en route to Winnemucca and points beyond. Where do the skookum old schoolers get grab & go dinner in Bend Town?
