    Sure, I’ll volunteer

Lift downtime was a recurring theme of my response.

Q: what is the one thing we can do that would make your experience better?
    A: fix the damn lifts!!!

Q: What is your favorite resort and why?
A: Taos. Great vibe and the lifts don’t beak down all the time

Q: What has been your most memorable moment at Mt Bachelor?
A: The day all the lifts operated at full speed.

Guessing my entry won’t make it to the drawing for the 4pack…

You have a good memory. I don't recall the last time all the lifts ran at full speed.

    Winds have dropped considerably
And now Powdr has a reasonable excuse for why NWX isn’t running today…

The early AM report says NWX is scheduled to operate today!

ETA - on drive up I see a MtB Suburban abandoned at Tetherow entrance with significant front end damage. Too much Australia Day?

Surprised to see snow flakes at Bachy this morning. Hopefully NWX spins and doesn't break. Friend of my wife was stuck on it when it broke. Took about 45 minutes to unload. Good luck Bachy mags! May the lifts be with you!

At least they got HRM, Stadium and Express going

Now they're showing only BC, Stadium and HRM running. Main lot filled at 9:36. I think even the carpet is on wind hold, lol

It seemed to ski deeper than the 3” on the stake this AM. Only issue was wind - it was a little brisk. Like 20*, chairs blowing sideways on the rope and the comms lines looked like Ullr was playing crack the whip. Heavy goggle riming added to the fun.

Everything except Sunrise and Rainbow went on wind hold about 1030, my fingers went numb and couldn’t keep the rime off the goggles. So I bailed. Fun while it lasted.

No pics - my fingers were cold enough inside gloves

In addition to the crashed MtB suburban mentioned above, somebody else put their SUV on its side near Swampy on the way up. Happened behind me and it was cleared when I came down.

Weekenders be advised - school is out today in PDX. Expect crowds of tourons with subpar skills. There’s also regional racing going on. Cliffhanger is being prepped today (and skiing nicely I might add)

We don’t see flipped valley vehicles on 58, just tractor trailers that go full KITT Turbo Boost mode off of corners!

Hey be positive. It wasn’t down as long as NWX was yesterday and nobody got hosed down with hydraulic fluid today.

A tad bit chilly this morning. Found some chalky windblown in a secret location that no one cares about how you got there.

I doubt the Doo can run today. Maybe Manzi if winds die down. Their WX station has been reading 70 MPH N all morning.
