It’s been cold enough to make snow, so there is that…

Was up at Bachy this afternoon. They were farming snow from the parking lot and dumping it by Red Chair. Hiked up towards the Pine Marten lodge on Leeway and it skied like early season snow.

Hopefully that forecast for beginning of next week holds and we get some decent snow accumulation.

The snow base has been holding steady with minimal retreat. With another foot+ coming in, Meadows should be open for business by Friday, Dec-2.

Mellow lap up to Pine Marten lodge. Some dust on crust to play in. Hopefully more to play in the next few days...

I have not been able to get onto Tline’s website this morning — anyone else having that issue?

NWAC was also down, last I checked. Not sure if it's related, but perhaps. (I was trying to get stats for MHM.)

I think a lot of people are checking out the ski area websites this morning. Bachelor website was very slow to load this morning.

Now if MHM would quit being so, IMO, lazy, and putting everything off to the last minute. (Why are you stringing chairs on Sat - shouldn't that have been done a month ago?)

What didn't have chairs on? Can't think it i takes too much time to put chairs on detachable's.

BTW. Meadows opening tomorrow with just the southside lifts. I have to believe that MHX will be running by Thursday, that's when I plan on starting my season.

MHX - they were ferrying chairs with a forklift from who knows where, and attaching them. It just looks like standard maintenance work. I mean there's going to be a ton of stuff to get done trying to get open, why leave things you could do earlier to last-minute? Again, perhaps I'm just being grumpy, but they have the snow to full open right now.

I think we'd all agree that they certainly could do better than Buttercup/Easy/Daisy.
