Speaking of French/France, for years some countries (ahem, Switzerland) were mocking the French team as foreign born. A generation later and the Tunisian team which beat France has TEN France-born players!!! Funny.

Ugh. Complete defensive breakdown. I'll still watch the second half, but yeah, this is over.

If Pulisic was really still looking for his World Cup moment, now would be a good time.

Completely outclassed. It's like they're playing different sports.

US looks like the JV squad. Terrible on defense, bad on offensive.

They have something to build around for the future. Lot of young talent that'll have another cycle of world class competition under their belt. Overall talent gap is huuuge from the better teams.

I hope they have defibrillators handy, one or more of the Korean defenders might fall over with an exploding heart in the second half.

I'm far from a expert on the sport, but we watch a good amount of World Cup every four years. That said, I really really enjoyed this skewering:

And the one that proceeded it: https://www.theguardian.com/football...ccer-criticism
