^You have to think it's tourists at vacation rentals. I can't imagine that working out for someone that lives there.

TAHOE 22/23 -THE YEAR OF THE (t)RAM

I’m stoked Barry Sless is playing with them. Sometimes he brings Pete Sears along.

At least this looks like the storm to catch Lake Shasta up with the rest of the state.

Didn’t mean any disrespect, but I just imagined with all the closures and collapses that it’d be an absolute shitshow. An awesome spring, but aren’t supermarkets closed? And kirkwood telling people to stock up for a week of not being able to move?

Maybe I’m just reading the sensationalist news.

TAHOE 22/23 -THE YEAR OF THE (t)RAM

    people are still visiting Tahoe

Kirkwood is in a unique location

a couple supermarkets are closed but not all of them

concert cancelled at same venue last weekend due to snow

I didn’t even go up to my local hill over the weekend because I wanted to avoid the tourons

I have lived and worked and played in the snow for 30 years - I sorta know what’s up - if it were a bad idea for me to go to Tahoe I wouldn’t

    and - no offense taken

Last time I saw Brian was at SB. At least he and Nate are pinheads. I was kinda hoping to see him there last Sunday, but I could barely see my hand in front of my face.

The City Council on Tuesday during an online meeting unanimously approved (5-0) a resolution to spend more than $3.5 million on new equipment that will help recycle and replace an aging fleet that spends about as much time being repaired as it does removing snow.

Hmm, I guess this means no snow next year.

I hadn’t heard of them, so I told my wife there’s a band named Leftover Salmon. She heard “there’s a bear named Leftover Salmon”. Better than bear #399 for sure.

Plenty of events still rolling this weekend to drive us turons to make iffy decisions on our externalities on the general population:

She Jumps, Get the Girls Out- 3/18 @ P-OV
    Sports Basement 23/24 Equipment Demo (proceeds to B4BC)- 3/18 @ P-OV
Bobo Sports 23/24 Equipment Demo- Mount Rose

Next Weekend P-OV has the Pain MCShlonkey on Saturday and the Mothership Classic on Sunday.

You know, events that were indicating the end of the season last year...
