Point taken, but its all I've got. I'd love to take some laps with ya Old Goat. And I'd move pics of you a bit further up that scale, w/o question. Unless you are skiing on grass.

You know what else I hate? Controlled burns. Cause then all the burn piles would be gone (they're almost gone anyway).

Pretty much went full touron my last day with limited inbounds fresh. Great to see my old friends that have been here for 30+ including my old housemate. [emoji3577]out

This guy...lost his snowboard down chute 75 area. Brutal. My son saw him lose it. Thankfully it was the end of the day, so few people on the hill and nobody was taken out...that I know of. Jfc tho. This is him struggling to get back onto the cat track after looking to see where his board ended up.

I wish I could show a picture of me with powder flying but this is the only known picture of me skiing--11 months after breaking my back, 14 rib fractures and a hip fracture and 3 months after getting a new aortic valve and ascending aorta.

I dunno OG, you've got the skis pointed in the right direction and the bases are down so I think you're doing alright. Plus they appear to be french frying rather than pizzaing!

So he is *egzpert* enuff to hit chute75...but does not know to *always* put a snowboard down on its bindings when its off?
He would have just downslided the whole thing on his heel edge anyway, so a good result!

skied the violet couloir and the buttes last week. tricky snow in the couloir but phenomenal elsewhere in the cirque.

This nonsense has been happing all year. A direct result of Gaper Gondola letting off directly on top of "double blacks". I saw a crew of football jersey-wearing, fireball-drinking bros all walk out from the gondola and peer over Sheryls' Run. One dropped his board and it almost killed 3 people. Ended up at the bottom of Olympic Lady. I think they should not let people off the gondola on KT. The type of riders that use that thing are 90% beginners and have no business on KT. At the least they should only be able to exit on the Saddlle/downhill side only. There should be yet another sign that says " all equipment must be attached to your feet beyond this sign" . Too many people walking around the top of KT with out their shit on, beat it Kooks!

^yeah, I was trying to comprehend how he even got around the corner without being strapped in...at least one foot. That was one of the most f'd up things I've seen on a hill.

Some later-gram-like stoke from a few weeks ago. One of the kiddos and I had a few hours of power and skied off all 4 peaks at sugarbowl. They were stoked.

Fuck that plan. At the very least they should offer passes to locals. Do really see how that could hurt their business plan. The place is empty most of the time anyway.

This thread has really kicked it up a notch. Additional thanks to Dark Energy, OG, sweatypowderpig, bodywhomper, etc. You guys all rock!

It's been that way all week...they just keep stepping off the gondumbla and "discovering Alpine Lodge". Anyone that calls it by that name is a fuckhead.

I had the same thought. Seems like a very risky investment that could ultimately end up in money flushed down the drain. Wonder what the pricing will be like?
