I should have mentioned that the skier in the green coat and red pants is newly relocated skier that moved here from Crested Butte. He was a free ride coach there and used to compete in freeskiing comps himself. He's a fantastic skier and was a great touring partner. I hope to ski with him a lot more. He's shredwardstomps on Instagram, go give him a follow!

I've thought about doing a season down south in my truck/camper.
Ride bikes when its warm and bring the skis out when its raining/cold.
Does AZ (or any southern places) do a multi area pass or tickets?
Would like a change from the always cold in banff and a 4 month bike vs 8 month ski season

Hmm, fun thing to ponder. I live here and fantasize about taking a winter off to chase the warmth and mountain biking. I totally get this train of thinking, I love skiing, I really do but I despise the cold now. I couldn't live in a place like Banff or Jackson any longer. Even down here I'm generally done with winter by the second week in March. I haven't skied in April in probably 7 years
.
The Power Pass is good at Purg, Brianhead and Nordic Valley. I know thee aren't the sexiest ski destinations but there's a few days of fun at each area and plenty of ski touring/back country options nearby. I think getting the Power Pass and the Silverton unguided pass would set you up real good for the ski side of things. The discounts for the guided season are really good with that Silverton pass, heli drops are totally affordable. I'd like to figure out something for Taos and Santa Fe areas as well though.
I just discovered some new riding areas down in the Mojave that stay warm and dry all winter. Phoenix and Tucson obviously have killer winter riding. Vegas, St. George, Kingman, Sedona, and trails around Albuquerque hit for most of the average winters so there's plenty to explore on that front.dirtbag, not a dentist
