    BIG PRICE CUT: Propain Tyee 29 CF (large) Performance Build

    For sale is my last Propain Tyee demo bike, this one's a large. It was ridden approximately 15 days and is in absolutely mint condition: no scratches anywhere on the frame. There are a few small nicks on the rims, derailleur and right fork lower, but otherwise this bike is like-new. This is their X01 Performance build and weighs around 30 lbs all-in.

    This bike would be around $6k new? It hasn’t changed over the last couple of years right?

    Yep. Looks like it was updated in 2020, but hasn’t really been available in the US until last winter or early spring. The geo is fucking spot-on for an enduro bike though, IMO.

    I've never ridden the Tyee, but on paper, it looks pretty perfect. It's geo is progressive, but not extreme. The bottom bracket isn't super low, the hta is slack, but not extremely so, the chainstays - at 445mm - match the XL frame (which would be my size) nicely. The suspension seems tuned a bit more for efficiency/pop than plowing. As someone who wants one bike and pedals for all his rides, but happens to live next to rough trails, the Tyee seemed perfect. If they would have had the coil shock available before I ran into the Competitive Cyclist Ripmo deal someone posted here, I'd likely be ordering one next year. Just not as nicely set up as this one for the price.
