Poole is irritating and Draymond is a bully. Perfect combo and pre-season drama!

Dray likely jelly that Poole will get a bag and he’s getting a stapler and a lower paycheck (or opting to decline player option and going to Detroit)

Dray definitely cost himself a lot of money. Not a good look. Seems like the Dubs (steph, iggy, kerr) are all backing JP.

The footage doesn't paint a good picture for Draymond

TMZ is unbelievable with what they get. Ugly look. Dubs def backing Poole and may have to impose tougher discipline than what they initially indicated (“we will handle internally.”)

That scuffle is nothing. That’s an every day occurrence in football. If there wasn’t a video there wouldn’t be any action.

It looks terrible. Draymond seems really aggressive when JP seemed to be just talking the whole time.

An older video of Draymond on JP: https://streamable.com/gxsoj8

Things get heated. 2 years ago Marcus Smart punched a hotel mirror that was giving him a dirty look. Some people run a little hot!!

Ha! I was referring to being hungover.

Man, that Draymond video is… not great. He was clearly being a dickhead and initiated the whole thing. He’s also way bigger than Poole so it’s especially lame to come in with a haymaker.

I disagree and agree. Agree that there is no action if the video isn't leaked. Dubs definitely were trying to brush it under the rug.

Disagree on this: While fights in practice do happen, this is a really bad look for a defensive-orientated player who seems to have lost a step, already had a rep as a hot head who cost his team a championship in 2016 when he punched LeBron, and is in a contract year looking to get paid. No way it doesn't hurt his stock value.

That said, the Warriors and Steve Kerr, who has weathered this type of storm before (see 96 bulls), are one of the few teams and head coaches I think can handle this situation. I still wouldn't be surprised if Draymond gets traded..... Miles Turner and Buddy Hield would probably look good in the blue and yellow.....

Is anyone surprised? Draymonds a little crazy. There’s a few guys in the league like that, playing with that edge. Marcus. Patrick Beverley. Obv it’s not good. He severely overreacted and has some issues with anger. That’s how they are.

Id be more concerned with how he was a complete liability for most of the playoffs.

He wasn’t for most of the playoffs, it was just a few bad games against Boston so that became the narrative. He also played great in the close out game. He was great against both Luka and Jokic as well.

Warriors have maybe $60M allocated to spend on 2 of 3 dudes: Poole, Wiggins, and Draymond.

Poole likely gets $30M/year like Herro.

Wiggins plays a valuable position, he improved, and he is 27. Hard to let that kind of player go.

Idiot aging Draymond may have just bought himself a ticket out of town. He’d be difficult to replace, but now they have to worry about his attitude affecting the team this season.

Fun times for those who are sick of the Warriors!

I'm not convinced seem Poole is too bent out of shape about it. Draymond should probably be a bench player at this point to save him for the playoffs anyhow.

Yeah the harsh reality is they have to keep Wiggins over Draymond if it comes to that, and Poole proved to be important because he can create his own offense, especially when Curry is resting.

Punch or no punch, Draymond wasn't getting a big extension.

He was still going to get something decent but this 100% hurts him and gives the Warriors a ton of leverage. Here’s a decent offer- take it or go disappear into obscurity in Sacramento or something. In a girlfriend analogy, he’s no longer attractive enough to act this crazy.
