The second-tier waterpark I lifeguarded at senior year of HS/freshman year of college was largely built into the ski slopes of an equally second-tier resort.

You have no idea how much fun those places can be with minimal oversight and management.

Buster, those are a lot of big words and I won't pretend to understand the point, but..."yes."

Some years ago (post -t-shirt and pre-championship frisbee golf) Magic had a zip-line adventure park. One endearing feature of a section of the zipline as you were ripping downhill towards the next platform was the cable was entirely taught between the two poles. The result was very little braking effect as you slammed into the telephone pole like a bird into a window at whatever mph you happened to be going.

Assume you're referring to Timberquest--not just ziplines, although contained zipline elements. Pretty sure it's all still there, isn't it? More exciting following years of no maintenance.

Like I said, Riser had to start this thing. We're doomed.

Well, I respect the effort to recreate the classic Magic experience, but I won't be really impressed until they get some branches up there that you need to knock away from your face as you pass.
