Blister Labs
All gear reviews are just stories that reveal more about the reviewer than the product. I don’t give any credence to what some dude scraping around Crested Butte thinks about some minor change to yet another ski I’m never going to buy, or a boot that won’t fit, all that matters if they produce entertaining enough content for me to read/listen. Their posturing and plain ignorance is occasionally cringe worthy, but no more so than any regular chairlift or conversation. I’ll always check out, am often amused, and sometimes find value in their free content. I don’t need the deals, so don’t see any value in subscribing.

Why can’t they take paid advertising?
Without selling out.
The ski mags always sucked. Top rated ski review followed by full page ad. Yeah no.
But they should have clothing or other ads like ski shops etc.
click through bait to get revenue.
I like their independence but at the end of the day there needs to be revenue.
Bravo to blister. It seems honest and kind. But they need to get paid.
PS. They must have a spare box fan they can send to our server closet.
