since the Vermont Republic originally seceded from Quebec and ruled themselves before being admitted into the US I feel it's only right for VT to lay claim to QC.
As for the location of Upstate NY, I think we're getting close but still have some work to do on that front
I find it pretty remarkable that QE2 ruled for 70 years; 1/4 of the time that the US has been in existencemy head is perpetually in the clouds

well would they technically be " British Subjects " I duno but 1/4 of the world would have been under British rule at one point
consider you and i speak English ? or would you say you speak American ? the tentacles of the british empire reached far and wide for hundreds of years
but as for food how much " British food " have you eaten ? my father would have been talking about the tendancy for the average Brit to boil/ fry the fuck out of everythingLee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know

post 1949, no, they wouldn’t be subjects unless they were immigrants or citizens
if you think steamed puddings are weird, uh, guess you’ve never looked much into actual cooking? North Americanized cooking usually makes some changes.
also wrt to the uk ww2 & postwar rationing decimated a lot of traditional producers & goods like cheese

I’m sure Charlie won’t fuck this up like bailing on Hong Kong.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koh-i-Noor
Because its history involves a great deal of fighting between men, the Koh-i-Noor acquired a reputation within the British royal family for bringing bad luck to any man who wears it. Since arriving in the UK, it has only been worn by female members of the family.[12]
