I think they'd have a slap fight until Harry clocks them in the face with a polo mallet. Shortest. game. evar.

We want no part of England. Canada, sure (except Quebec). England comes with European problems and Irish problems. Bugger all that.

Might be a good time for the US to invade Canada, while their guard is down mourning their Queen.

Give me a break. It was obviously riffing on the old "do you have Prince Albert in a can?" joke.

Yeah but that’s all still season one.

Then in season two we’ll have challenges from some 14th generation William Wallace relative, an upstart Canadian contingent, and BoJo.

It's a bit amusing that Cono thinks there wouldn't be jokes made here when the Pope dies.

I don't think the Queen's passing is funny, but sometimes it's tough to pass over the low-hanging fruit.

Oh I would and will. The pope is nothing more than a figure head for religious folk. Nothing more at all.
At least the Queen was a real person that served a purpose.

A good friend (RIP) used to tell the story of how he ran the Queen off the road. His wife's family cared for some royal animals and lived on-site at some estate, where they drove out to visit in a rental car.

Nearing the estate, my friend and his wife met a vintage Rover at a narrow spot in the road and someone had to pull off. He and her majesty were both practical enough to know it had to be her, and she obliged, rolled down the window and welcomed them with a friendliness that would kill Buttahflake dead on the spot.

The wife was mortified, but as an American he got a pass. Probably helps that her family only saw the royals on vacation, but the stories I've heard have all said she was a very gracious lady--her mum and husband seldom came off so well.

back in the day Prince charles visited the town of Prince George he was wearing one of them fur hats, it was summer so buddy was sweating profusely but he wouldn't take it off, the mayor noticed and asked if the hat was uncomfortable ?

Phil said " well I told mummy I was going to Canada on a royal visit to Prince George and she said

    wear the fox hat "
