sorry for the threadjack - but seeing as how you work at a shop that sells rocky - any chance you guys are getting an XL element frame in this winter?

I know we'll have some on our 2023 order coming the spring but that's about it. We were only able to get M/L Elements this summer. However, let me know if still interested in the spring and I'm sure I could do a small mag discount for ya!

edit: Also forgot to mention that currently they aren't offering the Element in frame only options, I tried haha

    roger - thanks!

I'm looking for a project to build over a long winter way up north - and the Element seems like the perfect bike for what I'm looking for.

There are some XL complete bikes listed on pinkbike but I really just want the frame - but may have to resort to buying one of these and selling the parts.

Good luck with your instinct sale - that looks like a dialed bike that is light for climbing but ready to get rowdy on the descents

I love my element, but I seem to outride the 120mm travel on every ride. Just seems sketch at Mach-nipple. (And that’s with a Float X) Granted, my other bike is a 170/170 Altitude, so it’s not a fair comparison. Probably will keep the Element until a ‘24 Instinct refresh comes out, though.

yeah my daily driver is a patrol - need my second bike for XC racing / backcountry rides / casual rides with the missus - Element would be a better fit for that than the Instinct I'm currently using

Exactly. Rides behind they house, missus rides, long non-tech rides, they Element is awesome. Ultra-chunder, not so much.

some may wonder what size it is, as the link to PB no longer works

    Looks like a nice build

Thanks, updated link and size. Would also sell as a frame only with whatever parts you want to keep
